Bahrain Financial Harbour appoints Nigel Gimbert as Senior Manager

Brings to BFH nearly three decades of regional and international experience, the most recent being Facilities and Maintenance Manager for the Kingdom Centre in KSA

To play a significant role in ensuring a smooth flow during fit-outs at the Harbour Towers in BFH, and in the overall Facility Management of the development

Manama, Bahrain, 14 January 2007: With the fitting out in the 53 storey Harbour Towers in BFH now commencing, Bahrain Financial Harbour Holding Company (BFHHC) today confirmed the appointment of Mr. Nigel Gimbert as its Senior Manager - Fit-out Coordination and Building Operations.

In his new capacity, Mr. Gimbert will be responsible for the entire fit-out coordination process to ensure this occurs in a smooth and efficient manner. This will include tenant coordination and supervision of tenant works carried out by fit-out contractors. He will also be overseeing the operational management of the Financial Centre, including security, administration, safety and preventive measures, premise maintenance and the entire building operations.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Stephen Rothel, Chief Executive Officer, BFH said:

“With the commencement of fitting out in the 53 storey Harbour Towers, which is the iconic centrepiece of the landmark BFH, it was imperative that we appoint an industry veteran with vast and robust experience in dealing with both fit-out coordination and operations management.

“Mr. Nigel Gimbert apart from his expertise in fit-outs comes from a rich background involving Facility Management and Maintenance Supervision. With nearly three decades of extensive man management experience as well as a marketing background we are confident that he will be a valuable asset to the organisation. This move will also be instrumental in significantly strengthening our operational capabilities as the towers near completion."

Prior to joining BFH, Mr. Gimbert was the Facilities and Maintenance Manager for the Kingdom Centre in Riyadh, KSA. He has worked with leading organisations such as Cluttons, Bahrain as the Facilities Manager, Heywoods Estate Agency, UK as the Marketing Manager and the Business Development Manager and Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Ltd, as Sales and Brand Manager and Advertising and Sales Promotion Manager.
